Is Magick Real? [witchcraft - occult - supernatural - paranormal]

Is magick real?  Could it just be an as yet unknown form of quantum physics?  Lovecraft oftentimes used scientific theories to explain the supernatural and occult.   In the end, Lovecraft's cosmic indifference supports Gerard 't Hooft and Leonard Susskind's Holographic Universe principle; we don't matter especially because none of this is real.

Pickman's App - original cover art

Pickman's App is a modern storyline continuation of Lovecraft's works Pickman's Model, Azathoth, and The Transition of Juan Romero which are combined into a twisting tale of dark discoveries.

The picture above is the cover art that I went with, but originally was going to use other artwork by nakaoart.  I contacted the artist about commissioning their art to use for the cover, but they were unfortunately going through some difficult family matters and would have to get back to me.  They never got back to me.

Here is the original artwork I wanted to use:

This art reflects the playful yet hidden monstrous sides of the mysterious lead character Ebrill.

Instead, other artwork was used, and this is how Ebrill turned out.  Not as "animated" but still portraying an incredible noir cool with only a couple pictures.

Aquaman vs. Cthulhu actually happened! + All the Memes

Aquaman actually fought Cthulhu in DC Comics!

Once, in The Brave and the Bold #32 (2010), Aquaman teams up with the Demon to journey to an underwater city, fight fishmen, and stop the horrible menace of Cth. . . wait, is that still under copyright?  Some idiots claim they own it but have no papers to prove it?  It's actually in the public domain now?  Nevermind, we'll call it, um, a Night God.  That's great!  Let's go to print!

Then, in Aquaman Vol 7 #23 (2013).

Oh, but wait, that's Aquaman's buddy, Topo, from Prime Earth.  Topo is a sentient octopus that first appeared in Adventure Comics #229 (1956).  Wanna see what he used to look like?

Back down the Rabbit Hole

I really need to get back to the world of Chainsaw Alice.  I miss her adventures.  Here are some new pics of Tuella the Two of Hearts (The Queen of Hearts' enforcer from Chainsaw Alice in Wonderland).  After Alice, she is my favorite character.  She's tough, she's confident, and she's not afraid to let you know it - by beating your ass, if necessary!

The advancement in graphic quality in Second Life makes for quite the incredible places to discover and explore.  Most of my book graphics and covers are done using their program.
